When is some advertising person going to discover OWK?
Volkswagen sales are up, how much of that is owed to Helga one can only speculate.
Critics also seized on the “Unpimp mein auto” commercials. In the spots, highly modified cars are destroyed by a German dominatrix named Helga and a wacky scientist type, then replaced by the GTI. The campaign was panned by ad critics.
But Helga was such as hit online that VW may bring her from Germany to a VW customer gathering in New Jersey this July called Waterfest.

The more dangerous underlying message:
Germans are the Master Race.
Not too unexpected from the car company named by Hitler, yet so inappropriate.
I am especially appalled by the portrayal of a black man who is apparently so stupid he cannot even protest as they steal his nice little rice burner and smash it.
short version: VOLKSWAGEN = NAZI
