The conviction of a man who may have inadvertantly fatally strangled his partner during sex has been overturned on technical grounds.
Graham Coutts, 36, from Hove, Sussex, killed Jane Longhurst, 31, a special needs teacher and classical musician, and kept her body in a storage warehouse.
Coutts had said he accidentally strangled the teacher with her tights during consensual sex in March 2003.
Five Law Lords said the trial jury should have been given the chance to consider a lesser charge of manslaughter.
“The judge should have left a manslaughter verdict to the jury,” said Lord Bingham. “His failure to do so, although fully understandable in the circumstances, was a material irregularity.”
Coutts will stay in prison pending a decision over a possible retrial.

This is a bizarre sexual practice but there certainly a lot of people trying it out. There are even stories in the local paper about someone who accidently suffocated with a plastic bag over her head, presumably while getting off sexually.
Since it’s becoming so popular, I would like to see it in person. If there are any cute, masochistic chicks out there who would like to have an audience of horny guys watching you slowly suffocate with a clear plastic bag over your head while you grimace in pain as you can’t get that needed breath of air…let me know…YAHOO!
