The Fortress
» Fetish and the Law
Tiny details continue to slowly emerge in the case of Mishelle Silva the operator of a BDSM themed website who has faced harassment by the local police. The anonymous letter that supposedly started their investigation pointed the Enfield cops at Shilva’s website:
The website said that Silva, or Empress M, had a place named “The Fortress” in Central Connecticut. The website describes two dungeons: one with a stockade and cage; and a medical room fully stocked with supplies, cage/medical table and a sissy wardrobe rack, the warrant said.
The website also contained pictures of Silva performing sexual acts on an individual, the warrant said.
“It is clear that [bondage and discipline] practitioners can receive sexual gratification for a fee as a fully developed rate structure exists,” police said in the warrant.
