Susan Winemaker, AKA Mistress Anna

» Professional Dominatrices

From a conversation with Susan Winemaker, author of Concertina: The Life and Loves of a Dominatrix:

But her own sexuality does not naturally include sadomasochism or fetishes. She entered this world as a visitor. So how can she inflict pain without finding it harrowing? “That’s a really interesting thing about the dungeon. I abhor violence. I don’t like watching it. I’m not a violent person. But something happens in the dungeon. Pain is redefined and doesn’t quite mean pain in the same way. It’s so context-based, so much about what’s happening in the moment, and the role and the dynamics between the two people. Violence is no longer violence; it’s completely redefined.”

“Winemaker” means she crushes grapes with her feet? Just kidding. My wife uses to say that was a way dominatrices could enhance their income, though. Special wines, stomped by Mistress X.
